Who can complain about a delicious meal that’s eaten in a comfortable and stylish setting? No one. I love a “sweet breakfast” and the presentation was everything. The cornbread consistency made the solo pancake enough to share and the omelet filled with fresh vegetables complimented the pancake. The fries, which were well seasoned, were also delicious. Stop in - worth a trip! My one recommendation - add a vegan option.

Such a beautiful place and atmosphere! I love it. So glad I finally came here. Food was excellent served hot and the pistachio coffee was so good. Definitely coming back. I was able to relax and enjoy a solo breakfast date. Will be my go to place 😊

East Rock Coffee in Garden City is a great spot with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The coffee is smooth, fresh, and well made, and the place has a nice comfortable feel whether you’re stopping by quickly or sitting down for a bit. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Definitely a nice coffee shop to visit in the area.

Amazing place! Came on my lunch break for a lunch date with my husband! Okay so let’s start with parking…. There’s a free parking lot behind the building make sure you park nose in! Or it’s right by the LIRR Garden City stop! Literally right there. You walk in and you immediately feel warm! It’s so cute on the inside, super cute and cozy for a date or a girls outing! I love the roses!!! Like roses are EVERYWHERE! It’s great! Okay on to the food! I go everywhere and order Pistachio Latte first, definitely one of the best ones I’ve ever had! And they serve it in a REAL cup with latte art! Super cutesy! And I debated between chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits… I was honestly really surprised considering this is Garden City but I went with the Chicken and waffles and when I say OMMMGGGGGGGGGG!!!! Yall! Trying to use self control and not come back for dinner tonight lol! I gotta at least wait 24 hours lol! Last but not least yall know how I am about service…. The food can be as good as it wants to be but if the service is trash I won’t come back. But the service is amazing! Everyone spoke to us, including the manager and owner came around doing table touches and I LOVE that!! So

We visited East Rock Cafe for the first time on Sunday to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with my kids and my son’s mother-in-law. The place was beautifully decorated for Valentine’s Day — very colorful and festive, which made it feel special and welcoming. The website is nicely done, but it does not mention that reservations are accepted by phone. We arrived at 12 PM and the place was completely packed. After waiting about 40 minutes (we preferred a table instead of bar seating), we were seated at a small table and given extra chairs. There was also a birthday party which may have contributed to the wait. Once seated, the food came quickly. The menu is versatile, the food prices are affordable, and the portions are generous and shareable. Everything was absolutely delicious — especially the freshly cut potatoes. I would say some cocktails were slightly overpriced, though appreciated. As a kind gesture for the wait, they did not charge us for our drinks: two beautiful flower-topped lattes, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a good experience. I recommend calling ahead for a reservation, especially on weekends. Four out of five stars. We will probably be back, hoping that next t
